Over the weekend, I had a Reflexology party booked in Penetanguishene. It was for a bachelorette party, where the guests were enjoying music, and each others company.
They somehow got in the Christian Island station CKUN 101.3 (Nish Radio) FM - And it played an eclectic mix all afternoon. The ladies had brought gifts for the bride to be, and they all were cooking together, and in the mix, one by one, I would see them in the room they set up for Reflexology. The house was under renovations somewhat, a big old house with so much charm. The reflex chair was set up in a room that seemed like it doubled both as a music room and a library, with a big tall window to let in a lot of light, despite it being a rainy day in town. I brought my towels, zero gravity chair, other linens and pillows, and the foot heating pad to keep each client warm while relaxing the chair. As always, I bring my naturally blended lotions, too. (Lemongrass and Ginger from Evocative Essentials in Midland is always the favourite, it seems!) At these sort of functions, I do a relaxing half hour session, so that everyone who attends the party will have a chance to try. It was a really fun day, and I was so glad to be included with the girls in their celebrations of their friend getting married. Plus, I always love to treat new people with foot reflexology to show them how it can really benefit them. It also gave me some practice for the upcoming summer cottage season, where I often will do house calls for people who come up to Midland and Penetanguishene to visit their cottages or family, or for functions. Bookings for that has begun, and I'm starting to fill up my weekends already. If you are interested in booking a Reflexology party for up to 6 people, or for an hour long Reflexology session in Penetang or the area, send me a message through the form on this website. It's a great way to treat your guests, and provide some pampering.
