Oh SNAP! TOMORROW is Valentines day!
Just a friendly little reminder that I'm still doing the "I Love You February!" Special, for the rest of the month! And, you could always book your sweetie an hour long session of foot pampering and all over body relaxation as a gift. They don't have to know you got it for $25. That'll stay between you and me! Now, I don't have any availability for Valentines day - that got scooped up weeks ago by savvy lovers who prebooked for their sweeties - However on Valentines, you can present your honey with a gift certificate that they can use to book an appointment for themselves, that works for their schedule. (You should probably also grab a box of chocolates or order dinner, if you really forgot to plan anything else... Just sayin'.) An hour long foot massage will win you badges and trophies with your honey, like: "Most thoughtful partner EVAR award." or "Boyfriend/Girlfriend of Most Excellent Awesomeness." or the prestigeous "I'd Marry You Again and Again trophy." Included with the gift certificate (which will only say "gift of an hour long Reflexology session." will be my business card and a little info slip so they know what the heck Reflexology is and how it can benefit them, and how they can book their appointment. But WAIT, THERE'S MORE. If you were TRULY late, and there's no time to get a gift certificate to you, you can prepay by paypal, or etransfer, and send your loved one to THIS NOTE which gives them instruction on how to book their Valentines session. See, you WIN! Happy Valentines Day to YOU, you magnificent unicorn! I thought that I was immune to the illness that has been flying through our community, but alas, it got me. Today is day one of feeling better, after a week of wrestling with the respiratory THING that I caught. I'm still recovering faster that others that have had it. I have chatted with a lot of people who have said this cough has held onto them for weeks and weeks! Oh dear. Although I cancelled a bunch of reflexology appointments, and during the fever missed a bunch of calls, I still had to go to my part time job at the thrift store, as there was no one there to cover for me. I bought masks at the Shoppers Drug Mart on Hwy 93 in Midland. They sell them for 50 cents each, but I purchased a whole box! I figure, I'll be using them up with clients! If you are not feeling well, it doesn't necessarily mean you have to miss out on your reflexology appointment. I know, when I was sick, it was most comforting to have someone close by. So, if you are past the fever stage, but still suffering from the cough or sore throat, we can always mask you up. For me, this thing started as a twitch in the lungs. It moved into a fever, then dry cough. A general feeling of lethargy set in while my body fought it. I ate a lot of garlic, took a lot of hot baths with epsom salt, and sipped a lot of Tumeric and Ginger tea. Although I rarely take medication, I bought some over the counter day time/night time combo for cold and flu. I only needed half the dose to get some relief, though. If you are experiencing this respiratory thing going around, Reflexology can help you feel better, and can also help by encouraging lymph to move through your system, and give you a circulation boost. I also diffuse Eucalyptus essential oil during our session, to help kill airborne germs and soothe the cough. Now that I'm through it, I'm back to taking bookings. If you are working your way through this illness, I hope you feel better soon! Lori |
